Down Home Maine: Cree Ways and Christ's Love

Sister Bernadette Gautreau, native of Mexico, Maine, story-teller and servant of Christ, spent 50 years among the Woodland Cree in northern Alberta. She will share her experiences and show some of her treasures from her time in Canada. Free and open to the public; donations welcome.

What Mushrooms Can You Pick?
Amanda Moran introduces you to the basics of mycology. This is a precursor to the multi-session course she will be teaching in the Fall Term of the Western Mountains Senior College where she will teach how to safely identify wild mushrooms while dispelling some of our common cultural fears about them. Guided Bird Walk
Join the Forest Service at Hastings Campground on June 9 & 16 at 8:00 am for a free guided bird walk. Naturalist Paul Motts will lead a 1.5 mile walk where we will experience the beautiful melody of June birds in the White Mountain National Forest. Hastings Campground is located on 113 approximately 3.5 miles south of Gilead, ME. Meet at the campground check-in kiosk.

Bethel Rotary Yard Sale and Auction
