Local residents Blaine Mills and Will Chapman will present a slide show and narration on the history of manufacturing in Locke’s Mill from 1816 to the present. This Down Home Maine presentation is free and open to the public.

Atrial Fibrillation Revisited
Daniel van Buren, Cardiologist, returns to WMSC's To Your Health program to discuss the unique clinical features of atrial fibrillation in women, the ongoing myths about heart disease in women, and how these myths affect the use of certain diagnostic tests and procedures. Adventures Down Under
Jim and Jane Chandler traveled to Australia in October and will share their photos of nature and wildlife in Tasmania and Queensland. They will also share stories of Aboriginal experiences and photos of sites. Potluck supper at 6:00 (bring a dish to share), talk at 6:45. No admission charge.
Saturday, February 23
Late winter is nesting season for owls in the Mahoosucs and a great opportunity to see and hear these elusive birds. Join us for a quick review of the owls that live in our area, and then we'll head out to listen to the sounds of the night. If we are lucky, we will hear owls and maybe a coyote or two. Time and weather permitting, we will also visit McCoy-Chapman Forest. Bring a flashlight. Dress for cold weather and since trails may be icy, a walking stick or foot traction is advised.
